AKA Snake Plant.  These plants are truly forgiving and virtually indestructible.  Easy to care for & slow growing.

Varieties include Superba, Zeylanica, Trifasciata, Futura, Black Coral, etc. 

Prefers full sun but will tolerate low light.
Well draining soil.
Water regularly during growing season.  Reduce watering from late fall into winter.
